AI isn’t just a U.S. phenomenon. Emerging markets are also getting in on the action, according to Vivek Tanneeru, Portfolio Manager at Matthews Asia.

“The impact of AI is being most acutely felt in Taiwan and Korea. Those two markets make most of the world’s most advanced memory and logic chips; they also package them, assemble them and test them. We’re seeing very strong tailwinds in both of those markets.”

In this episode of Talk ETFs, Tanneeru dives into the AI opportunity in emerging markets. He also talks about why small cap emerging market stocks look particularly compelling, as well as how Matthews Asia’s new Discovery active ETF suite can benefit investors.

Matthews Asia knows emerging markets. The firm has 30 years of Asia investing experience and $9.3 billion in assets under management.

That experience is something that the firm is leaning on to navigate today’s dynamic investing environment.

Talk ETFs is a weekly video series hosted by etf.com’s Senior Analyst Sumit Roy. Episodes highlight up-to-the-minute investing trends and strategies with commentary from leading experts in the ETF industry.
